Ken Burak currently resides at Stonehedge Gardens Holistic Retreat Center in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania in the United States. He is a professor of Philosophy at Northampton Community College and Lehigh University and has been working on a project for the past ten years of integrating play, games, and mindful movement into environmental and social justice activism. He truly believes that we are all playing games in our lives, both collectively and individually, and that the highest form of freedom we can achieve is to collaboratively, mindfully and joyfully create our own rules for these games to make our lives more fun, inclusive, nourishing, and beautiful. He spent a lot of time certain that the only route to enlightenment was through silence and stillness. Now he's toying with the idea that perhaps another equally powerful route is through silliness and giggles and laughter and play. He just bought a converted off-grid school bus he's going to live in at Stonehedge and is looking forward to taking these games and vision on the road.
